Estância Mimosa Ecoturismo - Bonito Tours
The Estância Mimosa is bathed by Rio Mimoso and is very known for your natural beauties, trails and waterfalls. It’s located in 24 km from the city of Bonito. 02 km of pavimented street and 22km of land street.
The activities starts with the arrival of the visitor at the headquarter, where the touristic guide is introduced and take them to have a delicious lunch*, with a variety of homemade products. Then the guide gives the informations needed to start the activity and a few stories about the farm and the region. After the group get ready everybody goes to the point where the trail starts. This stretch is done with the own car of the visitor.
The activity starts with walks and through it you’ll be able to see many waterfalls and dozens of rapids, and also be able to see the Serra da Bodoquena and inumeral species of birds and wild animals.
The walk is composed with stops for bath in natural pools and waterfalls of different sizes (close to 08 waterfalls). In this path, there are five great places to take a bath in the natural pools, besides small grottes and a plataform with 06 meters, where you can jump in inside a natural well.
Is also possible during the return, to do a stretch in a aluminum boat.
The trails doesn’t have a high difficulty level, but requires an effort a little bigger than usual do to the number of steps in a few parts. Most of it are great suspended wallways that takes the visitor from one place to another, and sometimes goes above the water from Rio Formoso and leads the visitor to surprises like a huge waterfall hide in the vegetation.
At the comeback, a delicious lunch will be waiting, with typical food of the region, made in a wood stove in iron cookware.
After the lunch, a good rest Bellow a passion fruit tree.
The time of the activities are several, there’s the option to arrive in the morning, have a lunch and go to the activity and come back for lunch, or arrive for the lunch, do the activity and have the lunch when comeback. The lunch is optional.
